Dear Room 112 Families, October 5, 2015 I hope every family had a wonderful weekend! REMINDERS:
Homework I’m so proud to see completed homework consistently being returned to school. Your child will always have a home link for Math. For reading, your child will have a personalized spelling list to study along with some ideas on how to study them on a daily basis (This is optional. However, doing three out of nine activities and turning all three in on Fridays can earn your child a GREEN Brain Buck!) and a RAZ-Kids account to read books online. I will be following your child’s activity on their RAZ-Kids account. Information on accessing their account, how long to read, etc is in their take home folder. I do not see the need to be specific about sight words (write them 3x, write them in a sentence, etc) but if you would like me to be more specific with your child, please let me know. There are no general classroom sight words. All sight words lists (up to 5) will be differentiated weekly for your child’s needs. Breakfast @ school Please review the note being sent home with your child on Monday. In brief, we need to know if you want your child to receive a school breakfast in the morning. If so, please ensure they arrive by 8:40 a.m. and take a breakfast as they are walking in with their class. See note for additional details. Any questions, shoot me an email. Student Fee Please consider paying the student fee of $85. This fee goes towards enriching your child’s curriculum. If you would like to pay in installments, please see me.
